Crafted in Shanxi province in the mid-1800's of elm wood, a wood that is strong and long lasting and made without using nails or screws. These pieces were created for pure function; small stools to sit on while working, to hold towels next to a bathtub, etc. Sizes are approximate and will vary. Each item is unique in style and design and the wood will show signs of age and use from its history.
